Yojimbo Killed Seymour Flux? How?!?

Incase you have not guessed, I have just been playing Final Fantasy X and been fighting Seymour Flux on Mt Gagazet. I have no issue with the fact I killed him (heck, a 4 minute battle against him is a record. My previous were 20 minutes and about 5 tries), but it was the fact Seymour had 35,000 hp left and Yojimbo killed him in one hit. No damage numbers showed. That is my issue. I paid Yojimbo 3000 gil and he had a full overdrive, which disappeared after I paid him. The attack was Zanmato and me having never had Yojimbo before has no clue what his overdrive is. My question is, is it normal for this to happen and show no damage numbers? Would this have happened if I summoned him at the very start of battle? Ie a 1 hit kill. I am extremely confused about this. I would really love to have this explained for me. Thanks

When you summon Yojimbo you have to pay him for him to attack he has four attacks: Daigoro:Yojimbo's dog will attack on his command. Kozuka:Yojimbo will throw several Knives Wakizashi:Yojimbo slashes single/multiple targets with his wakizashi (his short sword) Zanmato: Yojimbo calls his katana (slender Japanese sword) Zanmatou (The] sword [that] beheads/cuts demons/evil) out of a portal in the ground, which he uses to quickly slice all enemies in half. Instantly kills any enemy in the game. The one you did was Zanmato which killed seymour flux, the attack is really rare to do.

where might i find shakudo?

this is a long shot but does anyone know of any jewlers or metal suppliers that will sell bars of actual shakudo? it cannot be anything but copper and gold of course, no lesser alloys. ive had no luck on ebay yet and have no idea where i should start looking. im not interested in salvaging it from wares, if i was willing to do that id be making my own instead. if anyone happens to know about traditional Japanese finishing of shakudo that would be super too. i would need to ship it to the united states FYI. thanks in advance to anyone that can help. any actual answers from people with working neuron synapses, rather than tequila filled ones? mommiedearest, thank you for trying to help very much though that is not what i was looking for. still thanks for trying, i would choose your answer and give 10 points but the peeps at answers have taken away my ability to manage my account. my apologies to answers, the buttons reappeared. my apologies to answers, the buttons reappeared.

The blade is extremely sharp, there's no cheap rattle when you swing it or strike with it either. The first thing I did after unpacking it was to slice the box it came in, and the mailing box in half. Like a hot knife through butter! This katana is sure to take the head off of many zombies. I highly recommend it. 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , October 7, 2012

    It's an expensive set piece

I was looking for a functional sword to mess around with, basically... act like a bad-ass with, swing around, cut stuff up, train with, use for self defense, etc. This was NOT the sword for that, it chipped when lightly struck with a letter opener, as well as denting when hitting a ceiling fan light. If you want something to hang on your wall to look cool and occasionally swing around to show off to friends, and nothing more, maybe get this (although you can buy swords for roughly the same price right off amazon that look great and basically do what I was looking for). The "hidden tanto thrower"(all it is is a dull little letter opener) falls out all the time and sucks, but, looks cool. The sword is full tang which you need with a sword and pretty sharp, and it is carbon steel but low quality, and the hand wrapping is just individual strips glued on. Overall, it's not that great. The fact of the matter is that if you want something just to stick on your wall and look cool and never... 3/5 James - See all my reviews This review is from: Handmade Zetsurin Samurai Katana Sword Sharp (Misc.)
